Gratitude and Forgiveness


As I continue this journey to healing, the more I realize that it’s not the superficial changes I have made that make the biggest difference. Everything plays a part and I am so grateful I made these changes. They play an absolute part in the whole process. But as I reintroduce foods and drinks, I notice that healing myself from within is the biggest change I have made. Through meditation, journaling, being vulnerable, and sharing my thoughts and feelings, I am able to be closer to my true self. I am more gentle on myself and forgiving. I am able to observe my thoughts and feelings as they come, and let them go as the come. I am the firm tree rooted in the ground, and the leaves are my thoughts, coming and going in the wind. I am forever grateful to myself for this.
